Alice Calls SMS Consent
This page describes how callers, customers, and Alice account users consent to receive transactional text messages from Alice Calls.
How SMS Opt-In Works
Callers opt in during a live phone conversation with Alice when they ask to receive information by text, such as a service link, directions, follow-up details, or photos related to a service request. Alice only sends the requested transactional message after consent is collected.
When double opt-in is required, Alice first sends a confirmation text asking the recipient to reply YES before the requested message is sent.
SMS Program Details
- Alice Calls sends transactional SMS messages only when requested by a caller, customer, or account user.
- Message frequency varies based on the request, service follow-up, and account setup steps.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.
Messages We Send
- Links, directions, photo upload links, estimate links, payment links, and follow-up information requested during a call.
- Call summaries and account notifications sent to subscribed business account users.
- One-time forwarding setup instructions requested by a logged-in account user.
Opt-In Examples
Phone call flow: a caller asks Alice to text a photo upload link, estimate link, or directions. Alice confirms the caller wants the information by SMS. The caller agrees verbally, and Alice sends the requested text message.
Double opt-in flow: Alice sends, "Alice Calls: Reply YES to receive information you requested by text. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out." After the recipient replies YES, Alice sends the requested transactional message.
Dashboard notification flow: a logged-in Alice account user enables SMS notifications, adds a mobile number, and chooses which account or call events should trigger transactional texts.
Account setup flow: a logged-in Alice account user requests a one-time forwarding setup text from the dashboard. Alice sends setup instructions to the mobile number provided by that account user.
